Are you 14-25 years old? needing support to help you progress into work or training?

The Work –It Hub aims to provide 1-2-1 mentoring support to disadvantaged BAME young people aged 14 to 25, helping them identify their future career options and pathways; improve their employability skills, help them access apprenticeships, courses and work experiences, and support them to move into paid employment or starting their own businesses.

The outcomes will be that young people build a clear idea of what they want to do, and are actively engaged in school/college or move into paid work/training depending on age. The project is funded by London Community Response Fund.

We can help provide:

  • 1-2-1 information, advice and guidance to help you plan your career pathways
  • Help and support with finding relevant training and work placement/volunteering opportunities
  • Help you access apprenticeships/internships and government programmes like kickstart
  • Help with moving into work (job search, creating CV, filling in job application forms, conducting mock interviews and much more)
  • Help with setting up your own business
  • Mentoring from a professional to motivate and guide you
