Newark Youth London was founded in 1984 by a group of young people aged 9–12 who gathered at the old London Hospital car park in Newark Street—now the Centre of the Cell building—to play football. From those humble beginnings as Newark United FC, we have grown into a dynamic community organisation with over 500 active members every week.
Today, Newark is a trusted hub for education, sports, and social development, supporting young people and adults through inclusive, community-driven programmes.
